Fulfillment Center HR Manager - Torrington, CT

Are you passionate about building high-performance teams and fostering a positive workplace culture? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager at our fulfillment center in Torrington, CT. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our workforce and ensuring an outstanding employee experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Utilize various recruiting strategies, such as internet recruiting, advertising, job fairs and employee referrals, to attract top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive relationships with employees, address concerns, and promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Benefits Administration: Provide comprehensive ongoing education and consulting to the employee base on the full range of Company-provided benefits.
  • Performance Evaluation: Administer all performance and salary administration for the Torrington facility.
  • Workers Comp/Health and Safety: Provide Company-wide leadership and administration for all aspects of employee health and welfare.
  • Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR management in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to establish respect and rapport with all you work with.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both with senior management and the workforce at large.
  • Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in Spanish a major plus.
  • Analytical skills are a must, some Excel proficiency required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.

Note: This is a full-time, onsite position. The position will report to the HR Director and will have the support of an HR Coordinator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
